Commemorating the Prophet Muhammad’s birth is not the equivalent of worshiping him or making him equivalent to the grace of the Almighty. Merely a celebration of his birth is to acknowledge his contribution to the Ummah. It was the Prophet whom is the medium through which we were enlightened about the deen of Islam. Mashallah, all of the Muslim nations of the world nationally acknowledge the Milad-Un-Nabi with the exception of the Salafi / Wahabi state of Saudi Arabia. May Allah guide those who are blind from the truth. Celebrate the Prophet through sending darood, praying, and fasting. He is the Mercy to Mankind and may he forever be blessed.
